Arion Riding Centre

Welcome to the Arion Riding Centre

At Arion Riding Centre, we provide riding instruction and horse management lessons for all ages.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an established rider, our centre offers a safe and supportive environment to help you build a strong foundation and hone your equestrian skills.

Here's what you need to know!

Getting Started:

New Clients: Your equestrian journey begins with a private assessment lesson. Once you've gained competence, you'll join a group. If you have not ridden with Arion in the last 12 months, you will need another assessment lesson.

Dress Code:

Safety First: Approved safety helmets are mandatory when riding and recommended when children are around ponies. We can provide helmets if you do not have one.

Footwear: Suitable and safe footwear is essential for riding and working with ponies. We recommend Jodhpur boots or solid boots with smooth soles and heels. Avoid gripped soles or heelless shoes. We can provide riding boots if you do not have appropriate footwear.

Attire: Long pants are a must, and tops that cover shoulders to provide protection. Singlets or shirts are not permitted.

Weather Preparedness:

In case of strong winds or rain, we move indoors for horse management lessons. Be sure to bring a waterproof raincoat and wear warm clothing.
