Three factors are essential for the safe riding of ATVs:

The National Trade Academy has designed an ATV course for practical training at our training farm at McLeans Island in Christchurch, or the course can be set up in an area near you, providing a suitable site is available. We have experienced tutors, and the NTA is a registered and accredited Training Provider with NZQA. The National Trade Academy has been a providing training since 2000 and participants in our courses include Dept of Conservation staff, Pest Control operators, Farmers and their staff. For employers, our course will help you to meet your OSH regulations in respect to training your staff in the safe operation of ATV's. A certificate is provided for those that demonstrate they have the skill and knowledge to ride an ATV and meet the industry standards. All unit standards are recognised by both industry and the NZ Qualifications Authority. Courses are designed to meet all levels of ability, including advanced and experienced riders.
