Horticulture is a career option for students who are interested in working in the rural sector. Job opportunities include working in a Garden nursery or as a park ranger, arborist, gardener, in orchards, vineyards, conservation, forestry and much more.
Many jobs require knowledge of the land and its uses, so if you like working in the outdoors, then a career in Horticulture or Forestry may be for you.

Training is within our very own commercial nursery at McLeans Island with hands on practical training to compliment the theory.
