Secondary School Student Programmes

The National Trade Academy, in partnership with contributing schools, industry organisations and tertiary education providers, delivers land based trades and technology programmes for young people Years 11-13.

The Land Based Trade Academy provides the opportunity for students to learn the knowledge and practical skills of a land-based vocational career while remaining in school.

Students can continue with their core NCEA subjects while studying towards an entry level qualification providing access to higher levels of study at the National Trade Academy, other tertiary providers or through the relevant Industry Training Organisation while in employment.
