The 'English Plus' Suite

At the National Trade Academy, we've been offering vocational training since 2000, and from 2004 we've offered courses to international students in the agricultural and equine fields.

As many of our international students do not speak English as their first language, we now provide English language courses for the benefit of current and future students.

The 'English Plus' Suite

The NTA English Academy stands out from other English schools in being able to offer a variety of courses combining English study with training in land-based skills.

Students receive focussed language instruction at our new city campus part of the week and enjoy practical training in their chosen field at our parent school, The National Trade Academy, on McLeans Island Road. Clearly, in these courses, you enjoy the best of both worlds!

Entry Requirements

Our English courses are open to all international students who wish to develop their skills in English as a second language. On completion of their studies, students can enrol in the next level course, depending on their Visa.
